In this video we will deal with the ECG diagnosis of structural abnormalities of the atria. Applying the simple rules we’ve used through this course, we would expect enlargement of the atrial chambers to produce predictable changes in the morphology of the P wave This is indeed the case and criteria have been established for the ECG diagnosis of atrial abnormalities.
