Axis Deviation - Recognition


In normal individuals the cardiac axis lies between +900 and -300. Outside this normal range, if the axis lies beyond aVL (-300) this is termed left axis deviation (LAD). If the axis lies beyond aVF (900), this is termed right axis deviation (RAD). In this video we show you how to identify right and left axis deviation on the ECG.
