Axis Deviation - Recognition

In normal individuals the cardiac axis lies between +90⁰ and -30⁰. Outside this normal range, if the axis lies beyond aVL (-30⁰) this is termed left axis deviation (LAD). If the axis lies beyond aVF (90⁰), this is termed right axis deviation (RAD). In this video we show you how to identify right and left axis deviation on the ECG.
