ECG Generation

The leads of the ECG machine detect the movement of the cardiac depolarisation and repolarisation waves as they spread through the atria and ventricles. Leads capable of detecting electrical signal are placed on the patient’s body and the different lead positions record the flow of current through the heart from different perspectives. Iin this video we will explain how the individual ECG leads analyse and record cardiac current.
